I wrote half of this song a couple years ago and finished it entirely when the music was written. It's based on someone who tried exploiting the local scene for monetary reasons, ripped off people who would go to these shows and not pay touring bands who made the effort to travel this far South. They try lingering and make excuses for what they did in the past but most of us can see right through them by now.
